Q. How will this affect train services and the station?
A. From Saturday 18th January 2025 until Sunday 4th May 2025, Platform 1 (westbound towards Glasgow) will be closed. Services will not stop Platform 1 for the duration of the work. During this time, passengers will be directed to the next nearest station – Duke Street - where services will operate as normal. Services arriving and departing from Platform 2 towards Springburn won't be affected.

Q. Where will the works be?
A. The site compound will be at the bottom of Birkenshaw Street in Dennistoun. We have an access point to the railway here, which allows us easy access to the track to carry out the work.
So we can set up our compound, we need to carry out some tree and vegetation management. However, we will replant these once work is complete with an appropriate species.
