Fife Electrification is the latest phase of a rolling programme of work to decarbonise Scotland's passenger railway by 2035.
Phase 1 of the project's delivery will see electrification of the line between Haymarket and Dalmeny with work starting in June 2022.
Subsequent phases of work will see partial electrification of lines in Fife to enable the early introduction of Battery Electric Multiple Units to enable a better service for passengers on a cleaner, greener railway.
