Troon Station Redevelopment
Following the fire which devastated the platform one station building in July 2021, Network Rail offered the community the opportunity to inform the redevelopment of the station building.
Three design concepts were proposed with a range of potential internal layouts offering different facilities and amenities in the new station building.
The initial presentation in Troon showed the level of interest and engagement with the future of the station and we received feedback from the community.
The views shared informed the single option which is now being taken forward for planning consideration with a view to starting work on the building in early summer.
Public Information, Events & Consultation
We are pleased to have shared the proposed design at a recent community event. This will now be submitted for planning consideration.
The community can review and comment on the proposal via the Council's planning portal.
